Battle of the Hoods Is Coming to Southeast Austin
Southeast Austin, it’s time to gear up for the ultimate community showdown! EP Sports Academy is proud to present the first-ever Battle of the Hoods—a high-energy day all about celebrating the vibe, growth, and diversity of our community while getting kids moving and having a blast.
.Happening on Saturday, May 17th from 9AM–12PM at Skyline Park, this family-friendly competition invites kids ages 5–12 to represent their school, local group, or neighborhood in action-packed games and challenges designed to build confidence, teamwork, and lasting memories.
From relay races and obstacle courses to swag bags and bounce houses, this event has something for everyone—whether your kid is ready to compete or your family just wants to soak up the good vibes from the fan zone.
How to compete:
Appoint a Team Captain (must be 18+)
Create a team of 4–6 kids close in age
Register to compete and show up ready to rep your hood!
$15 per player – Includes event tee, swag bag, and all activities
Flying solo? No worries—we’ll match you with others from your neighborhood or school
